Dr. Brandon Smith, EdD
Ed.D., M.S., NSCA-CPT, TPI, FMT-L6
Human Performance & Rotary Specialist
Brandon Smith is a Strength and Conditioning Sport Scientist dedicated to meet the needs of the highest trained competitive athletes. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation, two Master’s degrees; One in Kinesiology and the other in biomechanics, and a Doctorate in Sport & Performance Psychology, as well as highly recognized certifications (through the NSCA), his primary focus is to increase human performance through proper movement integration while decreasing injury through correct biomechanics.
Brandon has experience working with professional organizations such as NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB, as well as with high level Olympic athletes; although, his primary passion is working with high level juniors in tennis. He has put many years to the studying of bodily movement and tennis movement biomechanics and can transform even the roughest, uncoordinated juniors into an explosive athlete.
Brandon has a theory that increasing states of physical performance are slowed indefinitely if the positive psychological markers that go along with it are not obtained. Intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and increased confidence is what makes an athlete strive to become the best. Brandon believes, and has seen, all of these markers of performance excellence increase through strength training, power training and increasing speed in his athletes.
